Identify Your Mindset

Your mindset is the lens through which you see the world. It shapes how you respond to challenges, setbacks, and opportunities. There are generally two types: a fixed mindset, where you believe your abilities are static, and a growth mindset, where you see your skills as things you can develop through effort and learning.

To identify your mindset, pay attention to your inner dialogue. Do you avoid challenges or feel threatened by others’ success? That might reflect a fixed mindset. But if you embrace feedback, persist through difficulties, and see failure as a chance to grow, you’re likely operating with a growth mindset.

Recognizing where you stand is the first step to change. With awareness, you can shift toward a mindset that empowers you to grow, adapt, and thrive.
